Edinburgh comes alive again in the winter for its world famous Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations at New Year. A host of events such as a torch light procession and arts carnival, take place in the lead up to Hogmanay itself on the 31 December, a fantastic night of celebrations with music, entertainment and the incredible firework display over Edinburgh Castle.
